Mark Carney talks Alberta Separation movement

Prospect of Alberta Separation Unfathomable

We had a disappointing Prime Minister of Canada for nine and one half years and consequently legitimate questions were raised in context of inter provincial cooperation, industrial development, and the application of unrealistic ideals. The inability to exploit new markets internationally for Canada’s natural resource wealth over the past decade has been detrimental not only for our prosperity as a nation but also in dealing with trade angst with our southern neighbor. However; it’s become clear that that landscape has changed and our new Prime Minister Mark Carney has invigorated industrial development and logistics with a practical and common sense approach to development while ensuring that all parties to agreements are respected with the environment protected.

The rally at Calgary’s BMO Centre on Thursday October 15, 2026 was evidence of Mr. Carney’s sincere pledge for executing on plans while referencing building blocks as they begin to take shape. His words were…”let us not sugar coat it – there have been legitimate concerns”. Objective folks know when to adjust from cynicism to hope. Mark Carney delivers the message with confidence. In fact, other G7 nations are looking squarely at him as his messaging resonates across the Globe.

Albertans will vote to remain in Canada, not cede to cynicism and not entertain any prospect of a binding referendum to secede. As Canadians we have been fortunate to have such a strong leader step forward and lead us through these turbulent times.
